What We Believe

We believe in the one God, Creator of all things, who loves us and exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, is true God and true man who died on the cross for our sins. He arose bodily from the dead and ascended into heaven. He is at the right hand of the Majesty on High as he intercedes for us.

We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired word of God, without error in its original writings, which reveals to us His will for our salvation. The Bible is the final authority for all Christian faith and life.

We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and to convict and regenerate us. The Holy Spirit also indwells, guides, instructs, fills and empowers the believer for godly living, mission and service to one another in love.

We believe that people are born in sin and cannot see the kingdom of God except through the new birth. Justification before the holy God is by grace alone, through faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe in the Church composed of people united together in the body of Christ of which Jesus Christ is the head. Its calling is to worship God and to witness Jesus Christ by preaching the Gospel and demonstrating righteousness, justice and love on behalf of all people.

We believe that Jesus Christ will personally and visibly return in glory to raise the dead and bring salvation and judgment to completion. God will fully manifest His kingdom when He establishes a new heaven and a new earth.
